USA Speedway was founded in 2006 in cooperation with the
American Motorcyclist Association and acts as the American
Motorcyclist Association's exclusive Competition Affiliate for the
sport of motorcycle Speedway racing. USA Speedway is a
non-profit membership association with headquarters in
California

The Association is governed under a
Code of Regulations
enacted in April of 2006 and the AMA USA Speedway Rules of
Competition, which are updated and published annually.

A nine-member
USA Speedway Board of Directors establishes
the policies of the Association and provides oversight of the
Association's professional staff and Rules Committee.

The
USA Speedway Rules Committee establishes competition
rules and makes recommendations on policy and operational
matters.
