On January 13, 2008 USA Speedway will be holding a free barbeque and
awards banquet at The Grand in the City of Industry. It will start at
2pm and will be held in the Pavilion building next to the racetrack.

Costa Mesa, Victorville, The Grand, Fast Fridays and Perkins
Promotions will all be there and participate with trophy presentations
to their riders. Bruce Flanders and Terry "IKE" Clanton will be the
MC. Entertainment will include a band and maybe a stunt motorcycle
exhibition.

There will be no admission, parking or food and soda charge regardless
of what Speedway organization you are with. The only cost will be for
beer or mixed drinks from the bar. USA Speedway will not receive
money from those sales.

I would like to thank Indianapolis National Speedway promoter Brian
Gains for his generous $100. contribution toward this ceremony. We
wish him much luck with the eight Speedway races he has planed for 2008.

Thank you Gene "The Dancing Machine" and Steve Graham for your
generous $200. banquet donation and for being the first to sign up to
be USA Speedway members in 2008. And of course Carol Perez, director
of "The Grand" and her crew as well as Hugh, Lee and Kelly "The Grand"
Speedway promoters.

I ask all my brother and sister Speedway riders, supporters, sponsors
and their families to come and enjoy themselves. This is not a
membership drive. Membership to USA Speedway will not be for sale on
that date.

This event is to remind us all that we are in this sport of Speedway
together and the only way to move forward is as a team.

Bring your suggestions, ideas a party hat and good attitude.
