AMA/USA Speedway Long Track National Championship - Returns to Canton
Over 5000 race fans will flock to the Stark County Fairgrounds in Canton, Ohio on this upcoming Memorial Weekend,
May 23 and 24 for Bike Days and the AMA/USA Speedway Long Track National Championship.
"This is our seventh year of promoting Bike Days", former First Division speedway star and Ice Racing Champion Scotty
Brown told USA Speedway Board Member Harald Zechner. "We love doing it, the spectators love seeing it and the
riders love racing it. It’s become a tradition."
Competition for the AMA/USA Speedway National Long Track Championship #1 Plate is fierce. Eighteen riders from
Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Ontario, Canada will compete for the title and $3,000 purse.
Enjoy this family friendly event. Speedway bikes on a big 1/2-mile track are a special treat that shouldn't be missed.
Gates open 10:00 a.m., heat races 1:00 p.m. and Opening Ceremony is at 3:30 pm.
General admission is $10 for adults, $5 for kids aged 6-12, and children 5 and under are Free. There is no charge for
parking.
